In a surprising move Chatwin Stiver won the long time trial in Norway Tour and put himself in the lead of the GC. Although the management of Driehoek keeps their riders, including Stiver, away from the press during the Norway Tour, we were lucky that freelance reporter Alfie Sagar was a guest in the team car.
S: 'It was an amazing day. Stiver just kept on going steadily. Koen, the manager of Driehoek was sitting next to me and we kept saying to each other that he was doing surprisingly well. But when his bike broke down there was a bit of panic in the car. Only in the car though. Stiver stood perfectly calm and mechanic Garrick Sturt quickly had him going again. Somehow, Stiver was going even faster after that.'
R: 'Do you think Stiver will carry the jersey to Oslo?'
S: 'I definitely hope so, and his lead seems comfortable. But the king stage is coming up and a lot can happen there. After all, we shouldn't forget that this is Stivers first tour. There is always the risk that he burned too much energy for this time trial.'
R: 'So you think that the plans of Driehoeks fanclub members that are gathering in Norway to cheer for Stiver on the last mountain are a bit too optimistic?'
S: 'Maybe. I'm definitely joining them though.'

Congratz! Bermudans on top 2 giving headaches.
Little motor? We use jet engines!
Eh, I mean... What a ridiculous rumour.
How about those rumours Garrick Sturt gave Stiver a new bike with a little motor after the mechanical issue? This result is definitely very improbable just looking at his skills!
